This year, the nation marks the 70th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s historic Brown v. Board of Education decision. On May 17, 1954, the high court unanimously ruled that racially segregated public schools were unconstitutional, and that separate schools for Black and White students were inherently unequal in the opportunities they provided.

The Equity Assistance Center-South, based at the Southern Education Foundation (SEF), presents the following resources to assist educators with teaching about the historic decision and its impact, along with resources to help schools address remaining disparities.
