Advanced Placement (AP) courses prepare students for the future by offering college-level rigor in high school, often with the opportunity to earn college credit. But access to AP has not always been available to everyone. Students from underrepresented communities face barriers that limit their access and success.

The Equity Assistance Center – South (EAC-South) is working with families, educators, administrators, and districts to close these gaps. Through new AP equity toolkits, we provide strategies to:

  • Support families in encouraging and guiding their AP students.
  • Equip teachers to sustain inclusive, high-performing classrooms.
  • Guide administrators in building AP cultures that remove barriers.
  • Help districts align vision, policy, and accountability to sustain AP programs.

Explore the toolkits today and join us in building systems that enable every capable student to succeed in Advanced Placement.
